That I am creative.
A couple of weeks ago my two besties came over to my place to hang out, chat & visit my new baby daughter.
Our conversation strayed to my friend's dream of opening her own bakery. As our chatter grew in excitement, we talked about how each of us could play a part, listing off our strengths that would come in handy. When it came to my turn, there was a brief silence.
"And Amber is..."
"Adaptable? A quick learner?" I suggested.
"Amber is creative," one said.
And that was my moment of joy.
My friends' moment of struggle to find a strength of mine, turned into one the best compliments and ego boosters that I've in a good, long while.
